Personal Statement
I was born and raised right here in Mobile, and I feel incredibly fortunate to now be serving the families of my hometown as a pediatrician. My path in medicine started at the University of South Alabama, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and later my medical doctorate. I went on to complete my pediatric residency at USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital, which deepened my passion for providing compassionate, comprehensive care to children of all ages.
I’ve worked with children for as long as I can remember—from leading youth groups at church to working at summer camps—and becoming a pediatrician felt like a natural extension of that calling. I love building long-term relationships with families and being part of a child’s journey as they grow and develop. I focus on preventative care and patient education, with an emphasis on creating a welcoming environment where both kids and parents feel heard, supported, and empowered.
I’ve been with my wife, Shelby, since high school, and we’re the proud parents of our daughter, Annaliese, along with two energetic dogs—Skadi, a Doberman, and Mars, an Irish Setter. We are excited for our growing family with the expected arrival of our son, Elijah, in Nov. 2025. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing sports, enjoying the outdoors, and competing in board games and video games with friends.
